Our Mission

Welcome to Handpicked Nanny, a community resource for your short-term, long-term, and unexpected childcare needs. We were founded in 2020 by our CEO, DeAnna Fulton. At Handpicked Nanny, we are dedicated to bridging the gap between quality caregivers and families in need, with a focus on compassion, dependability, safety, patience, and most importantly, fun.

In 2015, DeAnna’s passion for children landed her in childcare. Over the course of seven years, she worked with over fifty families in the Atlanta and Decatur area. Due to the increasing volume of inquiries for childcare services, she decided to create Handpicked Nanny to extend her reach and satisfy the needs of families within her community.

Overall, our mission is to make your life a little easier by providing you with a peace of mind, knowing that your children are in great hands while you are away. All of our child caregivers have previous childcare experience, a clean background check, and an up to date CPR certification. We take pride in being a part of your child’s growth and development, and we strive daily to provide your children with the quality care they deserve. At Handpicked Nanny we are solving childcare needs, one family at a time.
